What EPS SURA is
EPS Suramericana S.A. (EPS SURA) is a health insurer (EPS) with members in both the contributory and subsidized regimes.
It is the third-largest EPS in Colombia by membership, with its biggest presence in Antioquia.
Clinics work with EPS SURA to verify membership, request authorizations and submit invoices with their RIPS files.
5,713,685 members as of August 2026: 4,759,795 in the contributory regime and 953,890 in the subsidized regime.
