Walk through your clinic with Arbol, area by area

  1. Appointment line

Nobody waits on hold. Arbol answers every call and every WhatsApp on the first ring, day, night and on holidays, on the number you already publish.

    7:02 a.m. · 14 calls at once · none on hold

  2. Consulting rooms

Every slot gets used. It confirms each appointment the day before, sends the preparation instructions and offers every freed slot to the waitlist.

In South America, 27.8% of patients with an appointment don't show up on average. (Health Policy, 2018)

  3. Laboratory

No result goes unread. When a result falls out of range or a check-up is overdue, it alerts the treating physician and calls the patient back in.

    HbA1c of 8.4% · Dr. Ruiz alerted · follow-up on Monday

  4. Admissions & billing

It knows who pays. It asks about the insurance or the plan, states the copay, prepares the authorization request and sends the quote or the payment link in the same conversation.

In Latin America and the Caribbean, 32.4% of health spending comes out of patients' pockets. (OECD and World Bank, 2023)

  5. Management

Your team asks; Arbi answers. Arbi, your team's AI agent, tells you how each site and each program is doing and prepares the report for the board.

  6. Emergency

Here, your team decides. Arbol never gives clinical advice. At any warning sign, it directs the patient to the emergency room following the protocol your team approved and hands the conversation to a person.

That limit is built in and cannot be switched off.

Everything you just walked through is one product.

Arbol is an AI service that looks after your patients. Your clinic gets four things:

  • The assistant

Answers calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email and web chat at any hour, on your number and under your clinic's name. Books, confirms and reschedules, and calls back the patients who are due.

  • The console

Your team sees every conversation with its channel, reason, outcome, recording and transcript, plus reports by site, by day and by agent.

  • Arbi

Your team's AI agent. You ask for the work in everyday words: a campaign, a PDF report, a round of calls to the waitlist.

  • Agenda by Arbol

If you need one: the schedule of your doctors and sites, with the medical record. If you already have one, Arbol works on yours.

  • How it's billed

A per-minute rate and, depending on volume, a fixed monthly fee. Integrations are included, and on average it goes live in seven days. See pricing

Every country has its own word for it. The work is the same.

In Colombia the law calls them IPS; in Chile, Peru or Mexico, clínicas or centros médicos; in Argentina, clínicas or sanatorios. Arbol speaks the way each country speaks: it books the cita, the hora or the turno, knows who pays and leaves everything where your team looks for it.

What each country calls the clinic, the appointment, the payer and the patient's record.

Questions from clinics.

What is an IPS?

In Colombia, IPS stands for institución prestadora de servicios de salud, a health-service provider: it is the legal name for whoever treats patients, from a single practice to a clinic. In Peru the rules say IPRESS, and in Chile, prestador institucional. Day to day, most of Latin America says clínica or centro médico, and Argentina also says sanatorio.

Are a clinic and an IPS the same thing?

In Colombia, a clinic is one kind of IPS: every clinic is an IPS, but not every IPS is a clinic. For Arbol the work is the same: an organization with patients, a schedule, sites and someone who pays for each visit.

Does it work for a clinic in my country?

Yes. Arbol works with clinics in Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Panama and Costa Rica, and speaks the way each one speaks: the cita, the hora or the turno; the EPS, the isapre, the obra social or the insurer.

Do we have to change our health record or scheduling system?

No. Arbol answers on your usual number and WhatsApp and works on top of the schedule and health record you already use, with 777+ integrations. If you prefer, Agenda by Arbol brings your doctors' and sites' schedules together with the health record. Your data can be exported in full whenever you ask.

Does it give medical advice?

Never: no doses and no diagnoses. At any warning sign, it directs the patient to the emergency room following the protocol your team approved and hands the conversation to a person. Diagnosis and treatment always belong to your physicians.

Does it say it is not a person?

Yes. In its first sentence it says it is your clinic's virtual assistant and that the call is recorded. Every conversation is kept on record, with its transcript.

What happens to my patients' data?

Health data is sensitive data across the region, and Arbol handles it under each country's law: Law 1581 of 2012 in Colombia, Mexico's 2025 Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, Law 19,628 in Chile (and Law 21,719, in force from December 2026), Law 29733 in Peru, Law 25,326 in Argentina, Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection, Law 81 of 2019 in Panama and Law 8968 in Costa Rica. It is encrypted and kept separate for each organization, and the health record stays in your system.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

Patient contact is billed by the minute and, depending on volume, the proposal may include a fixed monthly fee; governance is quoted case by case. On average, your appointment line is covered within seven days, and the terms are in writing.
