Colmédica
Colmédica Medicina Prepagada S.A. is a Colombian prepaid medicine company (prepaid medicine is a voluntary private health plan on top of the mandatory system). Its plans offer direct access to more than 100 specialties, telemedicine and home care, backed by its own medical, dental and diagnostic centers. It belongs to a business group that in Colombia includes Banmédica Colombia and the health insurer Aliansalud EPS, among other companies.
An in-network IPS (healthcare provider institution) or affiliated physician sees Colmédica members, confirms the service is authorized and bills the company for the care.

Medifolios
Medifolios is a Colombian, fully cloud-based electronic health record and practice management platform from Medifolios SAS. It serves private practices, clinics and IPS (healthcare provider institutions), from 1–5 user practices to multi-site providers. It includes specialty-configurable clinical records, scheduling, admissions, electronic invoicing, RIPS (Colombia's standardized service-record files), claim-denial management (glosas), telemedicine, lab, imaging and inpatient modules.
An IPS or private practice keeps its patients' clinical records, scheduling, electronic invoicing and RIPS files in Medifolios.

No. Medifolios remains your system: Arbol books on it for Colmédica members and all your patients.
Do Colmédica or Medifolios endorse Arbol?
No. Colmédica and Medifolios are trademarks of their owners and do not sponsor or endorse Arbol. Arbol works on your organization's side, with the accounts and processes you already have with each.
What happens to patient data?
They are health data, sensitive under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012: processed for a stated purpose, with the patient's authorization and with encryption and isolation per organization. Every conversation is recorded and exportable.
