AXA COLPATRIA is a Colombian insurance company formed by AXA and Colpatria, with property and casualty, life, health, workers' compensation and savings lines. In health it offers prepaid medicine (a voluntary private health plan) and plans such as Plan Original, Plan Alterno, Plan Fesalud, Plan Salud Ideal, Plan Ambulatorio, Plan Integral Emermédica and Plan International Care. It runs its own specialist medical centers (Centros de Especialistas Médicos).
An in-network IPS (healthcare provider institution) sees members of AXA COLPATRIA's health and prepaid medicine plans and manages its provider relationship through the health-provider portal.

gMedic is a cloud-based electronic health record platform for independent practitioners and IPS (healthcare provider institutions), made by Kloud Solutions SAS in Bogotá. It includes scheduling with reminders, clinical records with ICD-10 and ICD-11 diagnoses, informed consent forms, RIPS files in JSON (Colombia's standardized service records), electronic invoicing, teleconsultation and inventory. It supports specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, psychology, physical therapy and occupational health.
A private practice or IPS records clinical notes in gMedic, books appointments and generates the electronic invoice and RIPS files for each visit.

Its integration API (patients, appointments, schedule availability and clinical records) is an add-on module for customers and has supported webhooks since its August 27, 2026 update.

What happens to patient data?
They are health data, sensitive under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012: processed for a stated purpose, with the patient's authorization and with encryption and isolation per organization. Every conversation is recorded and exportable.
