gMedic
gMedic is a cloud-based electronic health record platform for independent practitioners and IPS (healthcare provider institutions), made by Kloud Solutions SAS in Bogotá. It includes scheduling with reminders, clinical records with ICD-10 and ICD-11 diagnoses, informed consent forms, RIPS files in JSON (Colombia's standardized service records), electronic invoicing, teleconsultation and inventory. It supports specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, psychology, physical therapy and occupational health.
A private practice or IPS records clinical notes in gMedic, books appointments and generates the electronic invoice and RIPS files for each visit.

Wompi
Wompi is the payment platform of WOMPI S.A.S., a subsidiary of Bancolombia (Grupo Cibest). In Colombia it accepts credit and debit cards, PSE, Nequi, Daviplata, Bancolombia transfers and QR, cash at banking agents, Puntos Colombia and buy now, pay later. It offers payment links to share over WhatsApp, social media or email, and it also operates in Panama, Guatemala and El Salvador.
Collect payment for a visit or procedure up front with a payment link the patient can pay by card, PSE or Nequi.

Wompi publishes a REST API to create transactions and payment links, and sends a webhook when a transaction's status changes.

What happens to patient data?
They are health data, sensitive under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012: processed for a stated purpose, with the patient's authorization and with encryption and isolation per organization. Every conversation is recorded and exportable.
