Electronic health record software
gMedic
gMedic is a cloud-based electronic health record platform for independent practitioners and IPS (healthcare provider institutions), made by Kloud Solutions SAS in Bogotá. It includes scheduling with reminders, clinical records with ICD-10 and ICD-11 diagnoses, informed consent forms, RIPS files in JSON (Colombia's standardized service records), electronic invoicing, teleconsultation and inventory. It supports specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, psychology, physical therapy and occupational health.
A private practice or IPS records clinical notes in gMedic, books appointments and generates the electronic invoice and RIPS files for each visit.

Its integration API (patients, appointments, schedule availability and clinical records) is an add-on module for customers and has supported webhooks since its August 27, 2026 update.

Calendly
Calendly is a meeting scheduling platform founded in 2013 by Tope Awotona. Each user connects their calendars, sets their hours and shares a link or booking page where the other person picks an open time. It also sends email and text reminders, lets invitees reschedule without the back-and-forth, and can collect payment up front at booking.
Share a booking link so patients pick their appointment time based on each provider's schedule.

Calendly publishes a REST API, with OAuth 2.0 or a personal access token, to book meetings and read and write scheduling and contact data; its webhooks fire when someone books or cancels, and the booking page can be embedded on a website.

Do I have to use both?
No. If your team only books in gMedic, Arbol works on gMedic; Calendly is connected if your clinicians also use it.
Do gMedic or Calendly endorse Arbol?
No. gMedic and Calendly are trademarks of their owners and do not sponsor or endorse Arbol. Arbol works on your organization's side, with the accounts and processes you already have with each.
What happens to patient data?
They are health data, sensitive under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012: processed for a stated purpose, with the patient's authorization and with encryption and isolation per organization. Every conversation is recorded and exportable.
