What Nequi is
Nequi is a digital financial platform that started in 2015 inside Grupo Bancolombia.
Since September 1, 2026, it has operated as Nequi S.A. Compañía de Financiamiento, a Grupo Cibest company supervised by Colombia's Financial Superintendency. Businesses can get paid with Nequi online, by QR code, through push notifications in the app and with recurring charges.
Charge for visits with a QR code or a payment request the patient approves in the Nequi app.
Nequi ended 2025 with more than 27 million customers, up from 32,000 at the end of 2016, its first year.
