gMedic
gMedic is a cloud-based electronic health record platform for independent practitioners and IPS (healthcare provider institutions), made by Kloud Solutions SAS in Bogotá. It includes scheduling with reminders, clinical records with ICD-10 and ICD-11 diagnoses, informed consent forms, RIPS files in JSON (Colombia's standardized service records), electronic invoicing, teleconsultation and inventory. It supports specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, psychology, physical therapy and occupational health.
A private practice or IPS records clinical notes in gMedic, books appointments and generates the electronic invoice and RIPS files for each visit.

Mercado Pago
Mercado Pago is Mercado Libre's payments and financial services platform. It operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. In Colombia it accepts credit and debit cards, PSE, cash at Efecty and account balance, and it lets businesses get paid with payment links shared over WhatsApp, social media or email.

Mercado Pago publishes a REST API (api.mercadopago.com, authenticated with an access token) and SDKs to accept online payments with Checkout Pro, Checkout API or Bricks, and to manage payments, refunds and subscriptions.

What happens to patient data?
They are health data, sensitive under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012: processed for a stated purpose, with the patient's authorization and with encryption and isolation per organization. Every conversation is recorded and exportable.
