Electronic health record software
gMedic
gMedic is a cloud-based electronic health record platform for independent practitioners and IPS (healthcare provider institutions), made by Kloud Solutions SAS in Bogotá. It includes scheduling with reminders, clinical records with ICD-10 and ICD-11 diagnoses, informed consent forms, RIPS files in JSON (Colombia's standardized service records), electronic invoicing, teleconsultation and inventory. It supports specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, psychology, physical therapy and occupational health.
A private practice or IPS records clinical notes in gMedic, books appointments and generates the electronic invoice and RIPS files for each visit.

PayPal is a digital payments company operating in about 200 markets. People pay with their PayPal account or a card, and businesses get paid through payment buttons and links, invoices and recurring payments, receiving funds in their preferred currency.

PayPal publishes REST APIs with OAuth 2.0 and a sandbox for testing, to create orders and capture payments, issue invoices, manage subscriptions and disputes, and receive webhook notifications.

What happens to patient data?
They are health data, sensitive under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012: processed for a stated purpose, with the patient's authorization and with encryption and isolation per organization. Every conversation is recorded and exportable.
