What Gmail is
Gmail is Google's email service.
It is used with personal accounts (@gmail.com) and is part of Google Workspace, Google's work suite. Account storage is shared with Google Drive and Google Photos.

Since February 1, 2024, anyone sending email to personal Gmail accounts must authenticate it with SPF or DKIM; senders of more than 5,000 messages a day need SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
