The patient asks for an appointment by phone or WhatsApp. 2. Arbol books it on gMedic and quotes the amount from your price list. 3. It sends the PSE payment link in the same conversation. 4. It keeps a record of who received the link and how the conversation ended. ## What each one is - Electronic health record software ### gMedic gMedic is a cloud-based electronic health record platform for independent practitioners and IPS (healthcare provider institutions), made by Kloud Solutions SAS in Bogotá. It includes scheduling with reminders, clinical records with ICD-10 and ICD-11 diagnoses, informed consent forms, RIPS files in JSON (Colombia's standardized service records), electronic invoicing, teleconsultation and inventory. A private practice or IPS records clinical notes in gMedic, books appointments and generates the electronic invoice and RIPS files for each visit. It reports more than 6,000 users, 160,000 patients and 2,000,000 cumulative patient encounters. It lets people pay online with a direct debit from a savings account, checking account or electronic deposit at participating financial institutions. Merchants connect it directly to ACH Colombia, through ACH's own payment gateway or through partner gateways. Take payment for visits and invoices straight from the patient's bank account, no card needed. PSE processed more than 600 million transactions from January through August 2026; July was its biggest month ever, with more than 90 million.
