It is funded by a 4% employer payroll contribution and offers a cash family allowance, education, housing, health, culture, recreation and tourism. In health it runs EPS delagente, its health insurer (EPS). An IPS (healthcare provider institution) in the EPS delagente network sees its members, uploads RIPS (Colombia's standardized service-record files) to the EPS's web app and reconciles accounts on the schedule the EPS publishes. It has provided benefits to formal workers in Valle del Cauca since 1957.
